Some of the first foreign entertainers to arrive at Le Carrousel and Madame Arthur were from North America. The first American that I have believe to have arrived was Tania del Ray (Tanya). Bambi described her to me as one of the greatest entertainers she had ever seen. Next was Canadian Les-lee who towered over everyone, he would later serve as a translator for many English-speaking entertainers such as April Ashley. Then Sonne arrived at Le Carrousel but she had already debuted in Paris at the Casino de Paris.  Sonne was Canadian born but left Canada to the USA as a child and spent most of her adolescence in North Dakota. In Madame Arthur's 10th Anniversary programme(1956) Ricky Renee appears. Then Micky Mercer a Male Impersonator, And the Famed Harvey Lee.  Tania, Ricky, Mickey, Harvey, and Sonne all worked with the Jewel Box Revue in the USA. At some point so did Guilda and Zambella , this might be how they made the connection to bring these entertainers to Le Carrousel. In the early and mid 60's baby Martell arrived star of 82 Club in New York followed by Holly White. Holly also worked at 82 Club , Jewel Box Revue and Finnochio's in San Francisco.  Les-Lee worked at Finocchio's as well but probably a  good 20 years before Holly.
